7-2 Loss Extends Fraser Valley Losing Streak
The Evanston Bishops earned a win at The Stetson Bowl, stopping the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 7-2. Starting pitcher Symão Alegro played a big role in his team's success. Alegro, who is tied for 8th in the TAA in innings pitched with 126.1, went the distance for Evanston. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Evanston.

Evanston used the timely hitting of Angel Castillo to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bishops on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
