Cornhuskers Rally to Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the DeKalb Cornhuskers and Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters.

The DeKalb Cornhuskers tallied a win at Pipe Fitters Park, throttling the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 4-2. Starting pitcher Sergio Hernandez was a big reason for his team's success. The Cornhuskers go to 57-58, putting them 5th in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division.

DeKalb needed the clutch hitting of Evan Wilkins to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Cornhuskers on top, 4-2. For the game, Wilkins had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

After the game, DeKalb manager Trey Burrell applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
