The Milwaukee Millers downed the Buffalo Bison, 7-2. The hitting star was right fielder Rodolfo Ollervides. Ollervides went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Millers. Milwaukee is in last place in the Thurman Munson League East Division with a record of 18-27.

With Milwaukee leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Ollervides hit a sinker from Jim Wallace for a 2-run double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Millers ahead, 4-1.

"This was a total team effort," said Ollervides.
