Steelheads in Free Fall, Lose 26th Straight
|
Frisco starter Kasey Schumm pitched well against the Roaring River Steelheads at Casino Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. The losses continue to pile up for Roaring River, which has now fallen 26 times in a row.
Jordan Ochoa came through with a big-time hit for Frisco. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Joe Renken.
