The Kelowna Rockets besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Adirondack designated hitter Tim Allers by beating the Lumberjacks, 5-4, at Paul Bunyan Field. Allers went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Eric Lewis, credited with the save, is now 4 for 4 in save opportunities. Kelowna is now 53-45.

Kelowna used a clutch at-bat from Ralph Nattrass to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Rockets ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Adirondack manager Nobuhito Suzuki.
