Valdez Leads Charge, Quebec Blasts Sasquatch
The Quebec Armada pasted the Seattle Sasquatch with a convincing 13-3 defeat at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Francisco Valdez was a prime factor in the Quebec win. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Their 24-14 record puts the Armada first in the Thurman Munson League Tim Ervin Division.

Chris Romanko had a big 2-run double for the Armada in the top of the fifth inning. With Quebec leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from Travis Reske, who is tied for 5th in the RCL in innings pitched with 49.0, and swatted a double to center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Armada ahead, 4-1.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Quebec manager Ramu Pavi.
