Bishops Come Up Short at Carson City, 5-4
The Carson City Mustang picked up a win at Cowboys Stadium, taking down the Evanston Bishops, 5-4. Starting pitcher Alberto Davila was a big reason why. The Mustang, now 69-44, have won 14 in a row.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from right fielder Bill Garrick. For the game, Garrick went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 33rd double of the season gave Carson City a 3-1 lead.

"Alberto made some big pitches when he needed to," said Mustang manager Orinosuke Matsuoka.
