Pelham Helps Storm Troopers Run Win Streak to 5
|
Phil Pelham was instrumental in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Spokane Bulldogs. The right fielder was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the San Antonio Storm Troopers. San Antonio has run its win streak to 5 in a row.
Pelham put San Antonio up, 5-1, when he hit a 3-run home run off John Neal in the top of the sixth. His 20th home run of the season helped the Storm Troopers capture the win.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Pelham told the San Antonio Bulletin.
