The Pacifica Shamrocks topped the Marysville Monarchs, 8-2, in RCL AA action at McCormick Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pacifica second baseman Cesar Vargas. The winner in relief was Bob Williams. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. The losing streak for Marysville has now reached 9 games.
