Jackson Goes Distance in Buzzard's Bay Win
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats picked up a win at San Jose Municipal Stadium, courtesy of Phil Jackson. The left-hander helped his team stop the Silicon Valley Hackers, 2-1. After today's action, Buzzard's Bay sits at 48-60; Silicon Valley slips to 69-39.

Jackson, a native of Shelby, North Carolina, was dealing all game. He kept Silicon Valley hitters off-balance, while giving the Beetlecats 9 quality innings. Jackson threw 94 pitches, allowing 6 hits and striking out 6.

"Phil was commanding his pitches," said Buzzard's Bay manager Dorian Payne.
