Led by Fernando Arellano, the Jacksonville Pilots downed the Seattle Sasquatch, 6-3. Arellano went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Pilots. B.J. Tourtelotte got the win, improving to 3-3. He held the Sasquatch to 3 runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Tyler Martin closed it out for Jacksonville, earning his 15th save.
Arellano had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Thor Odinson, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Pilots a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Arellano.
Arellano called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
Jacksonville is now 32-12, Seattle 19-24.
