Behind a fine performance from Joaquin Bolzoni, the Fraser Valley Black Bears knocked off the Marysville Monarchs, 16-9. Bolzoni went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the Black Bears. Fraser Valley reliever Jaiden Mitchell was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Carlos Rivera. The Black Bears saw their win-loss record go to 49-43. At the same time, the Monarchs fell to 41-52.
