8-2 Loss Extends Bighorn Skid
The rain did not keep Milwaukee and Bighorn from finishing their game.

Milwaukee Millers starter Eric Jerome kept the Bighorn Bison hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 8-2 win. Jerome got the win, improving to 4-3. He gave up 2 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs.

Tony Romero had a big 2-run double for the Millers in the bottom of the second inning. With Milwaukee leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a screwball from Carlos Adujar, who finished 4th in the TML in wins with 17 in 2053, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Millers ahead, 3-0.

"We'll enjoy this ride as long as it lasts," said Millers manager Kakuzo Kobayashi.

Bighorn is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 9 games.
