Bishops Reel Off Another Win
The Evanston Bishops defeated the Carson City Mustang, 8-4, in part because of left fielder Adam Rummer. Rummer went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bishops. Tom Elliott finished the game for Evanston and earned his 6th save. Evanston is now 60-30, while Carson City is 33-56.

With Evanston leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Rummer hit a fastball from Jon Adams for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Bishops ahead, 5-0.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Rummer. "The only team that can beat us is us."
