Pacifica turned a good effort from starter Chris Barratt into a win over the Beaumont Drillers at Drillers Stadium. The Shamrocks won the game, 4-1. Pacifica, with the win, climbs to 34-72.

Amare Ferrell had a direct impact on the outcome. Ferrell contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Pacifica up, 4-1.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Pacifica skipper Pedro Mercado.
