Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Sergio Valdez, the Rock River Rats defeated the Wichita Wolverines, 7-1. Valdez belted 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Rats. The 5th-place Wolverines have lost 4 straight games.
