The Fraser Valley Black Bears beat the Rock River Rats by a score of 6-4. Fraser Valley second baseman Cody Reeves deserved the lion's share of the credit. Reeves went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles for the Black Bears. Fraser Valley reliever Dean Hubert picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Steve Krueger was saddled with the loss. The save went to Tommy Spezia, his 18th this season.

Had Reeves not come through in the top of the ninth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Reeves hit a run-scoring single. The Black Bears took the lead, 5-4, and never looked back.
