Cabo San Lucas designated hitter Javier Lopez helped his team beat the Bighorn Bison, 7-4. Lopez, who is on pace for 158 RBI this season, went 3 for 5 for the Toreros. The last-place Toreros go to 17-19.

Bryan Bircher went 1-4 for Cabo San Lucas. The 24-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring single off Francisco Santiago. It was his 43rd hit of the season.
