Texans Outdo Armada in Extra Innings
Starting pitcher Cameron Mutton gave the Dallas Texans a rock-solid effort. The El Paso, Texas native helped his team defeat the Quebec Armada, 3-2, at Metroplex Park. Jeff Reynolds picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Nick Cockrell suffered the loss. Dallas, at 18-25, holds down 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Esteban Bermudez in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a solo home run off two-time All-Star Nick Cockrell to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went nuts.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Quebec manager Ramu Pavi.
