Black Bears Suffer 6-1 Loss to Moose Jaw
|
Moose Jaw Canucks starter Jamie Clark turned in a top-notch performance against the Fraser Valley Black Bears at Ashton Gate. The result was a win for the Canucks, 6-1. The Black Bears, at 38-49, have lost 4 in a row.
Moose Jaw shortstop Stacey Krikke contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 54th hit of the season and put the Canucks ahead, 3-1.
"The chili dogs will taste better tonight after this win," said the ever-candid Krikke.
