Victory Over Hawks Takes Niagara Falls to 51-34
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters downed the Boise Hawks, 7-0, at Pipe Fitters Park. Niagara Falls pitcher Jason Murphy definitely brought his A-game. By defeating Boise, the second-place Pipe Fitters improved to 51-34.

Making an impact for Niagara Falls was catcher Josh Spring. Wild Thing drilled a double off Dustin Brindle in the bottom of the third. For the game, Spring was 1-4 with a double.

Spring attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
