The Nest was the site of a tense game between the Eureka Hornets and Buffalo Bison.

Jamie Barlow pitched well, but his team, the Eureka Hornets, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Buffalo Bison at The Nest. The winner was Jorge Torres, who threw 108 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 6 hits. Gary Halliwell earned the save for Buffalo, his 2nd.

Buffalo used a well-timed hit by Landon Michaels to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bison ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
