Fans who came to Red Bull Stadium watched the Spokane Bulldogs and the Riverside Red Bulls fight to the finish.

The Spokane Bulldogs beat the Riverside Red Bulls, 8-7, at Red Bull Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Israel Saltos, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. After today's action, Spokane sits at 53-48, while Riverside falls to 63-37.

Ben Fulton came through for Spokane in the top of the 11th. With no one out, Fulton victimized Dave Suther with a solo home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put Spokane on top, 8-7.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Saltos said.
