Crocodiles Lose Big to Whitecaps, 10-2
The Boston Whitecaps polished off the Louisiana Crocodiles by the score of 10-2. The largest share of the credit belonged to right fielder Henry Pitcher. Pitcher hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Whitecaps. Boston goes to 50-37, Louisiana to 43-43.

John Day had a big 2-run double for the Whitecaps in the bottom of the second inning. With Boston leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from Mario Gonzales and swatted a double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Whitecaps ahead, 3-0.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Pitcher told the Boston Herald.
