Windsor took on Marysville in front of a lively crowd.
Harlan Elliott made an impact in the 11-0 Windsor win over Marysville. Elliott was 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. With the win, the Royals have a record of 49-37.
Jerry Paddack had a big grand slam home run for the Royals in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Windsor leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Jose Vergara and punished it. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Royals on top, 7-0.
Marysville manager Michael Fitzgerald called the blowout loss "nothing to write home about."
