The Wauwatosa Indians knocked off the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 5-1, in TML AA action at Pipe Fitters Park. Wauwatosa pitcher and Springfield, New Jersey, native Stephen Lowry had an outstanding performance. Wauwatosa is now 50-49, Niagara Falls 63-36.

Wauwatosa won the game in part because of Dick Bezemer. The second baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Indians ahead, 2-0. For the game, Bezemer had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

In postgame comments to the Wauwatosa Herald, Bezemer said, "Our goal is to stack wins."
