The Carson City Mustang and Spokane Bulldogs obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Carson City beat Spokane at Cowboys Stadium, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to right fielder Willie Agusto. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs. Reliever John Stancliff picked up the win. His record improves to 5-0. Willie Pantoja took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Agusto hit a fastball from Roberto Diaz for a run-scoring single. The Mustang, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"That was high adrenalin and it was fun," Agusto said.

Carson City, at 56-44, holds down 4th place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.
