McDaniel Pops Two Homers in 6-4 Win for Louisiana
The Louisiana Crocodiles dealt the Boston Whitecaps a 6-4 loss at The Studio. Pat McDaniel was the star on offense. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Bill Purcell was the winner. Over 6 innings, he yielded 4 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. The Crocodiles bumped their record to 42-42 with this latest triumph.

It could have been a different outcome for Louisiana, had it not been for Ramon Roman, the 24-year old center fielder . Roman contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Louisiana up, 4-3.
