Rockets Stymie Fraser Valley, Take 2-1 Win

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 2-1, in RCLAA action at The Stetson Bowl, with Kelowna pitcher Miguel Dominguez named player of the game. Noah Speech picked up the save for Kelowna, his 14th of the year. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Kelowna.
With runs few and far between, the Rockets had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Kelowna came in the top of the third inning, when designated hitter Chris Trevino delivered a run-scoring single. The single was hit off Antonio Jauregui and made the score 2-1, Rockets. Trevino went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Rockets manager Adam Haddox, "I like our chances."
