Slumping Earthquakes Lose Again
The Buffalo Bison defeated the San Francisco Earthquakes, 16-9, at Golden Gate Park. Cliff Millar produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Salvador Aguilar, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in 4.1 innings. Carlos Acevez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

In the top of the sixth, the Bison grabbed the lead when Millar hit his 10th double of the season. The 2-run double off Jeff Agin made it 10-8, Buffalo.

"This losing is getting old," said San Francisco manager Zayar Adelabu.

Buffalo occupies third place in the Thurman Munson League East Division at 21-21.
