Rockets Come Back Late to Clip Crocodiles

Behind the bravura of shortstop Mario Emiliano, the Kelowna Rockets topped the Louisiana Crocodiles by the score of 4-3. Emiliano was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Rockets. Reliever Jaime Tait picked up the win. His record improves to 4-0. Frank Teran took the loss. Kelowna is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Emiliano came through for Kelowna with one out in the top of the eighth. With Kelowna trailing 2-0, Emiliano hit a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Rockets up, 4-2.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Emiliano.
