Evanston Sends Clearwater Packing with 11-8 Loss
The Evanston Bishops withstood a fine game by Clearwater left fielder Eddie Pupillo at FUBU Field, to upend the Seagulls, 11-8. Pupillo went 3 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The win went to Kyle Ott in relief. His record improves to 6-4. John Hunter took the loss. Travis Wilson picked up the save for Evanston, his 6th of the year.

Third Baseman Bruce Morey made an impact for Evanston, when he swatted a 2-run double off John Hunter in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Morey went 2-5 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Evanston manager Harold Planter.

The Bishops, at 53-38, sit in third place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.
