Spirited fans greeted the Moose Jaw Canucks for their clash with the Beaumont Drillers.

The Beaumont Drillers dumped the Moose Jaw Canucks, 7-2, in large part due to third baseman Dan Sierra. On the day, Sierra went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Drillers. Beaumont pitcher Mike Lake got the win. He's now 5-2. Bryan Brawner was tagged with the loss.

Sierra had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Bryan Brawner, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Drillers a 4-2 lead. It was the 12th double of the year for Sierra.

"This was a total team effort," said Sierra.

The Drillers raised their record to 46-33.
