Bishops Take Tight Tilt, 2-1

The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.
Evanston Bishops starter Willis Paulino turned in an exceptional performance against the Clearwater Seagulls at FUBU Field, resulting in a Evanston win, 2-1. The victory gives Evanston a record of 52-38.
The decisive blow was delivered by Chris Brown in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Rodolfo de Gante to win the game for Evanston. The home crowd went nuts.
"We needed two runs to win," said Bishops manager Harold Planter, "and that's what we got."
