Padilla Sizzles -- Smokes Wolverines for 5 Hits
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Leonardo Padilla of the Carson City Mustang. Padilla went on a tear at Cowboys Stadium and cracked hit after hit off Wichita pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 20-year-old catcher had a career 5-for-7 day and something he will long remember.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview.

Despite Padilla's personal accolades, the Wichita Wolverines walked off the field with the 15-14 win.

Leonardo Padilla doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, singled in the 12th and struck out in the 13th.

For the year Padilla is batting .250 with 1 home run, 24 RBIs and 42 runs scored.
