Eric Lewis brought his A-game to help Mexico City defeat the El Paso Mavericks, 3-1. Dan Wallace was called on to finish, recording his 8th save. The Luchadores raised their record to 18-24.

Leo Galdamez, who is tied for 2nd in the RCL in triples with 4, had a direct impact on the outcome. Galdamez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Mexico City up, 2-1.
