Sean Martineau powered the Chicago Eclipse to a win over the West Island Jazz. The final score was 9-7. The Chicago right fielder, who finished 2nd in the TML in wins above replacement with 6.6 last year, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. The defeat makes West Island 21-21.

Chicago got a clutch hit from Angelo Garcia. The first baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"This place was electric at the end," Martineau said.
