Wet weather did not postpone the Windsor-Pacifica ballgame.

The Windsor Royals dumped the Pacifica Shamrocks, 16-0, in large part due to shortstop John Gendreau. On the day, Gendreau was 1-1 with 3 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Royals. The setback makes Pacifica 31-60.

Gendreau had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Royals went on to win.

"They steamrolled us," said losing manager Pedro Mercado.
