Stimac Powers Royals Offense
|
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters and Windsor Royals left the fans buzzing.
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old shortstop Harry Stimac, the Windsor Royals stopped the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 6-1, in 9 innings. The winner was Dave Campbell, who threw 95 pitches over 6.2 innings. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits.
The fans who filled the stands at Windsor Grounds to watch the TML AA action seemed to enjoy the game.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Windsor skipper Luis Hernández.
Windsor is now 42-35.
