The game between Frisco and Adirondack is in the books, despite a little rain.

The Frisco Rams defeated the Adirondack Lumberjacks, 6-2, at Paul Bunyan Field. Frisco second baseman Matt Mulholland had a superb performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Jonathan McMenamin earned the win for Frisco. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 8. With the win, he raised his record to 3-0.

Frisco catcher Art Finn contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 32nd hit of the season and put the Rams ahead, 3-0.

"We didn't play well enough to win," Adirondack skipper Nobuhito Suzuki said.

The 6th-place Rams are 35-43.
