The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Chris Howard added some punch to the Wauwatosa offense, helping them outmuscle the Beaumont Drillers, 9-8. In the game, Howard, who is tied for 4th in the TAA in doubles with 24, went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 23-year old right-handed pitcher Ron Schott had a chance to be the hero. Beaumont pitcher Mike LaRiviere wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Schott drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Indians had themselves a thrilling win.
