Rams Rally to Eke Out Win
The Frisco Rams outlasted Ben Gordon and the Adirondack Lumberjacks, 8-7, in 10 innings. Gordon was impressive in the loss. The Adirondack right fielder hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The 4th-place Lumberjacks now sit at 39-36.

Frisco used the timely hitting of David Smith to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rams on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Smith.
