The Marysville Monarchs topped the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters by a score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Leading the way was right fielder Jaquan Arney. Arney was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks for the Monarchs. The win went to Frank Alatorre in relief, making him now 1-0. Dave Wenzel took the loss for Niagara Falls. Marysville is 27-61 and Niagara Falls, with the loss, 52-36.

The Monarchs got a clutch hit from catcher Elias Encinias. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Monarchs.

"This place sure got loud," said Angel Gareia, the Marysville manager.
