Dan Sierra had a hand in Beaumont defeating Marysville by the score of 7-2. Sierra went 3 for 5 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 2 runs. Beaumont occupies second place in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League at 44-32.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Sierra hit a run-scoring single off Dan Danner. It propelled the Drillers into the lead, 3-2.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Sierra told the Beaumont Gazette.
