The Rock River Rats scored a convincing win at The Rat Hole, defeating the Kelowna Rockets, 11-2. One of the hitting stars was 26-year old center fielder Bobby Estrada who was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Joe Gentile was the winner. He's now 10-5. The loser was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Jack Collis. At 56-29, the Rats claim first place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Jamie Gardner put Rock River in front, 4-2, with a 2-run single. The Rats went on to win the ballgame.

Kelowna manager Antonio Moreno called the blowout loss "not what we wanted."
