Niagara Falls defeated Buzzard's Bay, 7-5, in large part due to 25-year old second baseman Steve Larson. Larson drove in 3 runs. The second baseman had 1 double and 1 home run for the Pipe Fitters. This loss makes it 7 in a row for Buzzard's Bay.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Larson hit a slider from Ryan Woller for a 2-run home run. The Pipe Fitters, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
