Fans who congregated at The Coliseum were treated to extra-inning drama.

Terry Blumberg helped his team muscle past the Sandy Springs Spartans, 9-6. In the game, the Spokane right fielder was 2-5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Bulldogs now have a record of 40-41.

Spokane used a timely hit from Victor Castillo to get the win. The designated hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the 11th inning to put the Bulldogs on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Exciting game to play in," said Castillo. "Getting the win makes it even better."
