Vivian Sizzles -- Smokes Canucks for 5 Hits
Niagara Falls second baseman George Vivian had a big day at Pipe Fitters Park against the Moose Jaw Canucks. The 26-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 23-2 Pipe Fitters triumph over Moose Jaw.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Vivian said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

George Vivian doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th and singled in the 5th.

So far on the season, Vivian is hitting .384 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 28 hits and played in 19 games.
