Seagulls Get Thrilling 7-6 Win
Clearwater beat Roaring River at Casino Grounds, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman David Ottman. He was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Clearwater reliever Rodolfo de Gante, now 1-3. The loser was Justin Bissey. The first-place Seagulls hiked their record to 47-32.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jesse Weinreb? The Clearwater right fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Seagulls on top, 7-6. For the game, Weinreb had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
