Win Goes to Wolverines in Tight Contest
Starting pitcher Juan Huerta was a major factor in the 5-1 Wichita Wolverines triumph over the Moose Jaw Canucks. The win makes Wichita 29-49.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Devin Spang? The 22-year old second baseman Spang stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put Wichita up, 3-1. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"That was a really good outing by Juan," said Wichita manager Abel Keller.
