Armada Take Tight Tangle
The Kansas City Tornadoes got a superb performance from pitcher Monty Brewster, but the Quebec Armada still won the game, 2-1. Brewster threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The win puts the Armada at 15-20, while the Tornadoes drop to 19-16.

Vince Walker was the walk-off hero for Quebec. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Armada pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Walker said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
