Micah Goodwin was a major contributor to the 7-0 Kansas City win over Dallas. The Tornadoes second baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Evan Hamilton, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. Their 16-26 record puts the Tornadoes last in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division.

In the bottom of the third, Goodwin had a 3-run home run for Kansas City. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Tornadoes on top, 3-0.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Goodwin told the Kansas City Herald. "Whatever it takes."
