The Swamp was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Silicon Valley Hackers and Louisiana Crocodiles.

Led by Keith Peterson, the Silicon Valley Hackers defeated the Louisiana Crocodiles, 4-3. Peterson, a native of North Plainfield, New Jersey, went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Hackers. Silicon Valley reliever Ron Williams was the winner. His record is now 3-5. Roberto Samper took the loss. Jeremy Poholsky was credited with the save for Silicon Valley, his 3rd of the season.

Peterson had a timely hit for Silicon Valley in the top of the ninth. With Silicon Valley trailing 3-2, he turned a 2-0 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Silicon Valley.

"Keith is still learning," said Hackers manager Brad Jones. "The sky's the limit for him."

The Hackers move to 36-27 with the win, while the Crocodiles drop to 33-31.
