Thompson Delivers Clutch At-Bat for DeKalb in Walk-Off Win
DeKalb left-hander Al Bledsoe made an effective start against the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Corn Crib, leading his team to a 5-4 win. DeKalb goes to 44-29. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when DeKalb pinch hitter Jon Thompson, facing Jose Soto, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Cornhuskers the 5-4 win.

"We squandered some opportunities," said San Antonio manager Yen-nien Zhou.
